Hello again! I've been blogging now for over a year and a half, so I would say that I am a pretty experienced blogger. Sure, I don't have millions of readers or followers, but I do have a sufficient amount, and today I want to give 3 tips to those who need a little help!
1. Firstly, all experienced bloggers will agree that social media is VERY helpful when it comes to blogging, and can give all the difference when it comes to stats and followers. So, I would definitely recommend setting up a Twitter, Facebook, Instagram or Pinterest account for your blog. If you are younger than the required age, or don't feel comfortable with social media, then ask a parent or other guardian to check it regularly.
(Follow me on Twitter: @whatlexieloves for an update on what I'm up to, reading, doing, and when a new blog post comes out!)
2. Follow other blogs. Again, us bloggers can safely say, a great way to get your blog out there, is by making blogger friends. Email a blog you like reading asking for a guest post, and linking back to your blog, then follow them, comment on there blog, and view it regularly. Soon, the blogger should come and check out your blog. If you want to see some awesome blogs, check out my Brilliant Blogs page, here.
3. Lastly, posting regularly is very important. I don't mean you have to post every single day, but I would recommend blogging every 2 or 3 days, otherwise you're stats will noticeably drop. Of course, blogging is for fun, so you might be busy, but if you do want to have good stats, I can recommend posting about 3 times a week!
Good luck new bloggers, I will now especially recommend Kids' Blog Club and Blogs' By Kids for (kid) newbies! And if you have a new blog, let me know and I'd be more than happy to check it out!
