Little Miss Understood, starring ME!

Some of you may know that in my spare time I do various tasks for The (AMAZING) Pineapple Lounge, a research company. Recently they have been looking a lot into the brains of tweens, and currently they are working on Little Miss Understood, a project which reaches out to brands (from the help of us girls) and showing what girls are really like, as we get more an more misunderstood by brands and companies!

And, they asked me to film a short clip with them to show at the Children's Media Conference, and I said 'yes' straight away - especially since girl power and equality is really important to me!

We had 3 BRILLIANT people come round (Lorna, the director, Ben and Darren)! We got filming right away, starting with the voiceover! They had prepared a script, but I tweaked it so it fit ME!

Then we went up to my room to start filming the different shots. Okay, so I'm not a person who can hold a straight face for long. No. Not at all! But they completely understood (although they still were making me laugh in the middle of a shot)! We only took 10 or 11 different shots, yet it must have taken us 2 hours (99% of which we were probably laughing and mucking around)!

Between the filming we had so much fun eating dolly mixture, playing on the trampoline and just chatting and having fun! They were all amazing, and they understood me really well, so we got on just fine!

And I just got a look at how the video turned out, and I L-OVE-D it!!!!! The editing was amazing, and the video really sums up me!

And there is the finished Little Miss Understood video from The Pineapple Lounge!

Enjoy!

What are your opinions on the way girls are portrayed?

    1. Thank you so much! Keep acting, and I'm sure you'll pursue your dream. However, I feel that actually most girls are portrayed wrong in the modern world, assuming all to be pink, princesses and glitter!
