THE 2ND INTERVIEW!

Hello my Lexicans! I'm here today with my 2nd interview! Whoop whoop! *encourages audience to cheer, then realised she's the only one dancing around*! So welcoming the amazing, awesome, brilliant M! This was such a great interview to read as we have a LOT in common! No shame in loving brownies!

(Note: if you do decide to check out M's blog - which you should - I just want to warn my younger readers, her blog has infrequent swearing!)

Anyways, take it away M:

1. Introduce yourself (and your blog)

Hey, I'm M from the Life of Little Me (thelyfoflittleme.blogspot.com).  Don't judge the "lyf" bit in my link - I know it sounds like some kind of try-hard text talk or something of the sort. :')

2. Besides blogging, what else do you like to do in your spare time?

Well, I go to school because education is important, and legal.  I also try my hardest to be healthy by eating junk food, feeling bad, and then half-heartedly exercising, because we all know how hard that is.  I write, I read, I watch a lot of TV, I play sport, I watch movies, I go to cafes, I turn up at my job at the local cinema, I play the piano or trombone depending on my mood, I draw, I go on snapchat a lot, I angst over every single kind of social media, but I spend most of my time overthinking absolutely everything.  In other words, my life is just as boring and mundane as yours; and even though we dream of dropping everything and living in the moment, or escaping, or going on adventures, we never will.

3. Who or what inspired you to start blogging (and who inspires you now)?

I've always documented my life in countless diaries and documents, and when I was 12 I started writing down thoughts rather than moments.  I guess as I grew a little older I decided I liked the idea of sharing some of these thoughts with complete strangers.  There was no way I would feel comfortable stripping myself down in front of people I knew personally, but maybe I'd find respite in people I didn't.  So that's what I did; and these readers and commenters still make my day every time I post, because life advice, telling me they can relate, or even just pure new statements make me grow as a person, and I love that some people know the secrets I'm thinking without any consequences towards myself, until now.  New people and their opinions are what inspire me.

4. What are your favourite foods?

I'm sad to say I'm the kind of person who simply loves junk.  Brownies are better than cakes, simply because they're thicker and richer.  At the sight of a cookie or chocolate I have absolutely no self control.  Give me lemon tarts and fancy desserts any day.  Popcorn is my favourite food.

5. How did your blog name come to be?

I made my blog in the spur of the moment, and the name wasn't the first thing on my mind surprisingly.  I guess I just chose it and it stuck, and it's too late to change it now.

6. What's the most important thing to look for in a blog?

Honesty

7. Any fandoms?

A lot.  I'm a classic dystopian fanatic, all for The Hunger Games and Divergent.  I love The City of Bones and Throne of Glass.  Throw me anything YA and I've probably read it.  I'm into 'trashy' TV shows like Gossip Girl and Pretty Little Liars and the Vampire Diaries.  John Green can sometimes be deep.  Any chick flick will get me attached in a heartbeat.

8. Who are your favourite bloggers (and why)?

*I have removed the name and URL of the first blog, and it does include swearing, which although is okay for most my readers, I do have younger readers too.*

Katie at the Goodness Revolt (http://www.thegoodnessrevolt.com) gets life.

Rookie (http://www.rookiemag.com) is something everybody should read to understand important teenage-girl concepts.

Humans of New York because people and their stories are so interesting, and he does it so well.

9. What's your favourite blog post of yours?

Read my last blog post because it's important.  I love nostalgia and anything completely honest in the moment.  Take your pick.

10. What was your best ever blog moment?

Whenever people comment they show me that what I'm writing actually goes somewhere.

11. Describe yourself in 3 words.

Thriving Insecure Over-thinker

Love,
M

Ps: THANKS LEXIE <3
