November Roundup

Hola Lexicans! It's December. It's December. IT'S DECEMBER! (Definitely not over-excited or anything....)

Today I'm just recapping November! Let's do this thing already!

I READ (and am currently reading):

- One by Sarah Crossan. This is absolutely amazing, touching and simply stunning (see my full review here). It's the first book I have ever read in the style of free verse, and as I used to not like poetry that much, I wasn't sure about it. My mind was changed in 7 seconds - I now love free verse, and NEED to give it a try myself.

- Divergent by Veronica Roth. Yes. Finally. After all that raving about the book I FINALLY read it *audience cheers*! And I really enjoyed it (you can read my full review of the book here), but I can see why there is a lot of controversy about the book. AND TRIS AND FOUR....... DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED. ASDFGHJKL. OTP.

- Insurgent by Veronica Roth. After enjoying Divergent, naturally I found a copy of the sequel, Insurgent and starting reading that (and I'm still in the middle of it). I have to admit, I'm definitely not enjoying it as much as Divergent :(, and..... Tris and Four............................. they just aren't getting along as well...

I DISCOVERED:

- The Week Junior. My parents always receive The Week each *guess what* week, and they made a Week Junior especially for kids recently, and my parents got a tester and I love it!!!!!! Perfect for fact-hungry children, and I definitely will be subscribing for it - it describes what is going on in a perfect manner of kids! Definitely one for you all to check out, if you live in the UK! http://theweekjunior.co.uk/
