Some easy reads

Hola Lexicans! Recently I have been reading a lot more easy and funny reads, so I thought I'd share with you today some quite quick and easy books you can read if you just want something light.

Grandpa's Great Escape by David Walliams

My sister got this book for Christmas and also being a Walliams fan, I couldn't wait to read it after her. It was actually more emotional and chilling than I expected, but overall it's an easy (but funny) read that I really enjoyed. For other Walliams fans who haven't yet read Grandpa's Great Escape, I definitely recommend it, and I think it may just be David's best! 7.5/10

Dork Diaries: Puppy Love by Rachel Renee Russell

I borrowed this from a good friend of mine after having wanted it for ages. Dork Diaries always make me laugh and this one certainly didn't disappoint. The loveable and hilarious Nikki Russell now has the task of keeping 7 super-cute puppies from her parents and arch-nemesis. However, it's even harder than Nikki imagined, particularly when you have a younger sister who decides to give the puppies a spa by massaging them with peanut butter. This book is easy, light and extremely funny read. 8/10

Diary Of A Wimpy Kid

The latest one is Old School, which I haven't read yet but all of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid books are amazing and very quick to get through. Full of cartoons and informal diary-style writing these books are perfect for those people who don't just click with books or those who like hilarious reads. I definitely can't wait to get my hands on a copy of Old School. 8/10
