The BEST NIGHT EVER: Taylor Swift at Hyde Park

As I mentioned in my last post, one of my birthday treats, were tickets to see TAYLOR SWIFT perform live at Hyde Park. If you don't know already, I have been the biggest fan of Taylor Swift since I was 6 or 7 after hearing 'Love Story'. Ever since then, my hugest dream was to see Taylor Swift in person, live on stage. And last night, that wish came true...

The whole 'festival' was brilliantly set out. There was plenty of food and drink stands, as well as mini lottery competitions, and a big funfair ride. There was a lot of space to sit down as well, bear in mind 65,000 other people are trying to do the same thing.

As well as Taylor, popular artists like Ellie Goulding and John Newman were both there too. Although they weren't as good as Tay, I absolutely LOVED John Newman's Blame. *starts singing the song and dancing madly* DON'T BLAME IT ON ME!



Then finally, Taylor came on! We were given cute little wristbands when we first came into the concert, so the wristbands lit up when Taylor was singing, which was a nice touch!

A lot of popular artists are said to be not as good in real life. But Tay was the opposite of this! Taylor is BETTER in real life (which I truly thought was not possible)! She sung most of the songs in her 1989 album, as well as We Are Never Getting Back Together, Love Story and I Knew You Were Trouble! My 3 most favourite songs were:

  • Shake It Off: (it was the finale song, everyone was dancing wildly (including me) and there were even mini fireworks)!
  • Love Story: this was the first song by her I ever heard, and it never gets old. She performed it beautifully!
  • Style: do I need to explain myself?
    • Taylor Swift was on that stage! :D


     
But to be honest, I Knew You Were Trouble, Bad Blood, Blank Space and We Are Never Getting Back Together were all amazing as well!

I also loved the inspirational and motivational talking she did inbetween songs. 'You are your own definition of beautiful and worthwhile.' - Taylor Swift. 'You are not going nowhere, just because you haven't got where you want to go yet.' - Taylor Swift.

I've only ever been to 1 concert (2 if you count one when I was 6 weeks old!), so it was easily the best! But really, beautiful clothes, beautiful words, beautiful dancing!

That was HONESTLY The Best Night Of My Life. Ever.
